Verano Holdings debuts its first national cannabis beverage brand in New Jersey on August 28, entering the state's THC drink market through licensed cannabis retail just weeks before hemp-derived beverages are pushed out of liquor stores and into that same channel.
NEW JERSEY, August 28, 2026: Verano Holdings Corp. (Cboe CA: VRNO; OTCQX: VRNO) launched its first national cannabis beverage brand, Easy Landings, in New Jersey today, according to the company's August 20 announcement. The line debuted a week earlier, on August 21, in Arizona, Illinois and Nevada.
Each 2-ounce bottle carries 100mg of total THC, with a capful measuring a 5mg serving, across four flavors: Lemon Lime, Watermelon, Mango and Black Cherry. Verano is selling the brand through licensed cannabis retailers and third-party retail partners rather than the liquor-store channel that currently carries hemp-derived THC beverages in New Jersey.
That distinction matters for timing. New Jersey's hemp beverage law caps liquor-store-sold products at 5mg of THC per serving and 10mg per container, but that channel closes to hemp beverages above 0.4mg total THC on November 13, after which those products are treated as cannabis and confined to licensed dispensaries and cannabis retailers, the same channel Easy Landings is entering now. Verano said it plans to expand the brand to additional states in 2026 and beyond.
No New Jersey hemp beverage brand or distributor has publicly responded to the launch as of this report.
